Lost Souls' Reunion
By Marie Ellen Pacha
from far out in space,
They gather together,
here in this place.
Sharing their sorrows,
crying their tears.
Opening their hearts,
exposing their fears.
Seeking the day,
while they wander the night.
Huddling together,
in search of the light.
Lost in the never,
and needing the now.
Holding the hope,
that the fates would allow.
It's the Lost Soul's Reunion,
that they're holding today.
Casting off memories,
and learning to play.
Forgetting,
whatever it was brought them in.
Daring to dream,
and believe they can win.
All of them struggling,
to make faith from doubt.
Finding their demons,
and pushing them out.
Building a strength,
not allowed them alone.
Laughter is building,
from what was a moan.
And the Lost Soul's Reunion,
gives them a place.
To exist for a moment,
in peace and in grace.
