Alpha and Omega - Part 9

Adam had been created first. At his "birth" he was already an adult, and he had lived alone with god in Eden for 25 years when Eve joined them. There was plenty for him to learn and do, and not knowing that he had choices made it easy for him to comply with the existing order of things.
But Eve's example of altering the routine presented him with options he had not previously considered. Apparently it was not necessary to follow the schedule god had taught him...apparently he had choices. Much like a young human, he now set out to test the boundaries and determine what the consequences for his actions might be.
In a normal human child punishment and guilt are used to teach what actions are permissible. Emotions, nurturing and food are used as rewards for acceptable behavior. Their "god" was not programmed to provide them any of those.
Adam's defiance began simply enough. He moved beyond their living quarters and explored areas he had not entered before. Any life support equipment was clearly monitored by god and closed to his investigation, but other information was not. He found a computer that held his genetic data, and while he couldn't change it, and had no reason to, he also found the dossier on Trump. As he reviewed more and more information about his progenitor his behavior gradually altered still more.
When god directed him to help with a task Adam would question god, asking, "What will this do?"
As one of god's prime directives was to be responsive to the needs of all humans he would provide answers to the questions asked. Gradually Adam realized that god's power was limited. And Adam's research had indicated that the person from whom he had been created had seemingly unlimited power in the society in which he lived.
Adam carried all the genetic potential to become the man he was cloned from. He lacked only the experiences that created the personality that drove that man. There was little for him to control in Eden, except Eve. He dug into her files too, learning what motivated the person she had been created from.
A primary urge in her progenitor appeared to be the pleasure factor. Adam deliberately set out to use that to his advantage. On a daily basis now, he would ask Eve to accompany him on one of his walks through Eden and then tell her he would provide a special treat. He had in the meantime experimented with the foods available to them, and learned how to alter dishes. He had paid particular attention to those Eve preferred. They were not surprisingly sweets, with little or no nutritional value. He did not show her how to recreate those dishes on her own, and her attempts to replicate them were usually terrible failures.
He had created a pleasurable reward. Eve responded as expected and complied with his wishes.
But as the experiment continued there was a side effect he had not anticipated. The hormones god had carefully calculated in their diets were thrown further out of balance. Sexual desire was no longer diminished.
The concept of time had little or no meaning to Adam and Eve. They existed from day to day with no real anticipation of their futures. Their world was narrow enough that all their considerations for themselves were simply that. Adam was intelligent enough to realize that he could control Eve with simple manipulations and as long as she was rewarded she was satisfied. But Adam had ambition...for what he wasn't sure, but he wanted more.
They continued for a while ignoring god's original strictures to Adam concerning their dietary habits. And one night as they lay in bed nearly asleep Eve brushed against Adam's side. It tickled him and he moved to avoid that sensation. Her hand moved too, and with the change in his position it came to rest upon his groin.
His penis responded reflexively and enlarged at the pleasurable touch. Eve was startled by his response, and fascinated by something new in her life. Her hand continued its exploration. Adam moved to accommodate her and equally fascinated by the feelings it was creating within him, he moved his hand to Eve's body.
As he explored her breasts, he listened to her breathing. She paused in her motions as his hands moved between her legs, but he stopped his movements until she continued. They had discovered one another's erogenous zones.
Both of them had watched educational videos about human sexuality. And in an attempt to create fully functional clones those videos were very detailed. At some point in their exploration Adam moved his body to a position which allowed him to penetrate Eve. At first she didn't like the sensation, it was painful. But he was stronger and persisted. She yielded and eventually her body responded instinctively.
Their first sexual experience was clumsy. Their movements were unsure, and awkward, but it resulted in orgasm for both of them. And this was the greatest pleasure either of them had yet discovered.
Throughout that night they alternated between periods of sleep and exploration. That pattern continued for days often interrupting other activities they would be pursuing. A touch from either one upon the other seemed to spark desires that neither one was willing to deny.
Eve was more persistent in her attempts to initiate encounters. While Adam found it just as enjoyable he wondered if he could use it as the means to an end, and he began withholding sex from Eve, manipulating her. She became compliant to his every whim in her eagerness to achieve a pleasurable outcome.
But there was an unexpected side effect to their activities. Not only had the hormones regulating their desire been thrown out of balance, but so had the hormones in place for contraceptive purposes. Within a month Eve was pregnant.
