Alpha and Omega - Part 10

Our data technicians have been busy evaluating any reference made about Charles Lawson. As it turns out we use DNA records compiled by him, and an email sent more than a century ago from him to one of our geneticists might be the link needed to find Eden.

Lawson was rather expansive in his emails. He seemed to feel a need to justify working for the privileged component of society rather than attempting to aid the underprivileged and seeking out ways to eradicate disease. He was especially concerned about how his attempts to clone Homo sapiens would be viewed by organized religion.

In his own words, "God has given me the unique ability to put this puzzle into place. It is not my intent to misuse this knowledge and create a master race. But those members of our society who have made a contribution in some way, and who have enabled my research to continue...should they not be allowed the opportunity to extend their knowledge, and their philanthropy through the ages?"

Was he really naive enough to ignore the power that went along with the wealth of these "philanthropists"? Hard to say from the bits and pieces we have recorded. But our technicians continue to search hoping to find clues to the location of Eden.
